  • Oversee and manage all import transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and international standards.

  • Continuously measure outputs to mitigate risks associated with import transactions.
  • Reconcile payments to import suppliers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial controls.
  • Initiate and manage payments to foreign suppliers in alignment with the company's Forex Policy.
  • Compile and present analytical reports, incorporating management insights and statistical data for decision-making.
  • Draft, implement, and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring quality documentation is in place.
  • Manage processes and address exceptional transactions by analyzing and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Establish and maintain management controls focused on optimizing resources through system enhancements and process efficiencies.
  • Oversee all import-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Continuously manage and report on outstanding sales and purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Conduct statistical and performance evaluations for all import transactions by supplier and division to assess effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant product and import standards, maintaining adherence to regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in import management or related field
  • Strong understanding of import processes, customs regulations, and logistics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and import-related software
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous
