As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled Marketing Analytics & Tracking Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all tracking systems are working optimally and debugging issues related to tracking, data collection, and reporting across various analytics platforms.
Role Overview:
As a Marketing Analytics & Tracking Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to debug and troubleshoot issues related to tracking and ensure the proper functioning of tracking systems across platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, and other related tools. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure data accuracy, identify any discrepancies, and provide solutions to improve tracking and data quality. This role requires a strong understanding of tracking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to tracking implementations, including Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Search Console.
- Tracking Implementation and Optimization: Ensure accurate tracking of marketing activities and events across various platforms, including website activity, e-commerce transactions, and conversions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Work with the marketing team to analyze tracking discrepancies, assess data integrity, and offer solutions to enhance data collection and reporting accuracy.
- Cross-platform Integration: Maintain and ensure the correct integration of all digital marketing tracking technologies, including but not limited to Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Search Console, and others.
- Collaboration with Development and Marketing Teams: Communicate with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure all tracking setups are in place and functioning correctly.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Create clear documentation for tracking setup, troubleshooting procedures, and data flow for internal reference and best practices.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing analytics and tracking implementations, preferably in a non-agency environment.
- Strong proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Looker Studio.
- Extensive experience with tracking and managing data for Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Search Console.
- Solid understanding of web analytics, event tracking, and the technical aspects of data collection.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot tracking issues in complex environments.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other analytics platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with eCommerce tracking and optimization.
- Experience with Zapier
