Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and clean the consumer database regularly, research new audience outreach methods, assist with consumer research at shows, and manage media partner deliverables. 
  • Source quotes and stats for marketing campaigns (outdoor, radio, TV, print), work within the marketing budget, liaise with suppliers, and ensure all paperwork is processed. Assist in content creation, social media management, data management, and report preparation. 
  • Source and establish relationships with potential partners, collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, and enhance ticket sales and show exposure. 
  • Source quotes for printing collateral, manage design briefs, and ensure timely approval and readiness of artwork. 
  • Capture and manage sponsorship deliverables, ensure deadlines are met, and manage sponsor approvals. 
  • Source and organize goodie bags or gifts for events, work additional hours as needed, and ensure progress during exhibitions. Prepare monthly progress reports and fulfil other duties as necessary. 

Requirements: 

  • Grade 12/matric, a qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is advantageous. 
  • Experience in marketing coordination or a similar role. 
  • Knowledge of consumer and industry trade marketing, traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analytics software. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, flexibility, and stress management.
