Desktop Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Engineer with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to excellent customer service. In this role, you will identify and resolve technical issues efficiently while performing after-hours and weekend help desk functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments. What you'll do: Identify and resolve issues effectively. To perform after hours and weekend help desk functions Your Expertise: Teamwork, flexibility, understanding urgency and priorities, and quick problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent customer interaction English - Can converse and has the necessary email skills Excellent Customer Interaction with clear, concise, and effective communication skills Effectively collaborate with the team to achieve common goals Ability to work under pressure, cope with stress Advanced working knowledge of Windows 10, 11, Office 365, and MS Office applications. Experience with video conferencing and printer administration. Qualifications: National Senior Certificate/ Matric/ Grade 12 A+ / N+ certification (required) Pass typical recruitment checks (criminal, qualification, ID verification checks, etc.) Other information application to the opportunity Permanent position Location: Cape Town Physical Demands: Sitting, walking, bending, and lifting Travel: Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
