About the Role As Head of Finance, you’ll lead the full financial function—driving strategic insight, control, and operational excellence across a complex, multi-stakeholder business. This is a hands-on yet strategic leadership role that influences decisions at board level and guides financial health across all divisions. The group operates across multiple sectors and values leaders who combine technical strength with pragmatic commercial judgement and collaborative leadership. What You’ll Do Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis. Develop and maintain robust financial reporting frameworks ensuring accuracy, compliance, and business alignment. Lead accounting operations and strengthen governance and control frameworks. Partner with senior management to shape strategic decisions and long-term plans. Manage commercial negotiations and relationships to optimise profitability. Design and execute revenue growth strategies informed by data and insight. Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and technology. What You Bring CA(SA) or equivalent qualification. 8–10 years’ experience in senior finance or accounting leadership roles. Proven expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and governance. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence executive decisions. Skilled in managing complex stakeholder relationships. Analytical, data-driven mindset with strategic foresight. Advantageous: experience in rewards, loyalty programmes, or multi-partner environments. What Success Looks Like Financial processes running with precision, transparency, and compliance.
