Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Scrub Technician, located in the Tshwane Metropolitan Area. The Scrub Technician will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, sterilizing and setting up surgical instruments, assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly. The Scrub Technician works closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterilizing and setting up surgical instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of maintaining sterile conditions during surgeries and ensuring operating room is properly prepared
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Understanding of surgical procedures and ability to assist during surgeries
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Certification as a Scrub Technician or Surgical Technologist
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
