Marketing Manager (Student Acquisition) — Open Education

Location:
Remote / Hybrid (South Africa) with occassional travel to our Berlin, Germany offices.

Salary Range:

R560K - R1.2 Million (depending on experience)

Open Education is hiring a Marketing Manager to grow student enrolments across our AI, business, and professional development programs.

This role focuses on performance marketing, paid acquisition, funnel optimisation, and campaigns that convert prospective learners into enrolled students.

What You'll Do

  • Run and scale paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Build and optimise funnels from first click → enrolment
  • Manage performance metrics across CAC, ROAS, CPL, and conversion rates
  • Create landing pages, messaging, and creative that drive sign-ups
  • Implement tracking + attribution with dashboards, UTMs, analytics
  • Lead A/B testing across ads, pages, and campaigns
  • Partner with faculty, alumni, creators, and employers to drive demand
  • Support events, webinars, and content that convert leads

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in performance marketing, paid media, or growth roles
  • Proven track record driving measurable acquisition results
  • Strong data literacy + ability to work with analytics tools
  • Experience managing budgets and performance targets
  • Excellent writing, positioning, and storytelling skills

Bonus Skills

  • EdTech or higher education experience
  • CRM + lifecycle marketing (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Zapier)
  • Experience with marketing AI tools and automation
