Bühler Group in Johannesburg, South Africa is looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as CS Contract Manager. This position will be responsible for managing several allocated service contracts from mobilization to renewal. In this role, you will provide the first level of contact for customers for contracts (level 1 &2) larger contracts (level 3&4), manage the contract, extra work orders, cost, and risk, and conduct regular margin reviews.

This is where you'll excel

  • Take overall ownership of assigned services contracts, to fulfil obligations towards full customer satisfaction
  • Load all Service Agreements and Contracts in SAP and ensure timeous invoicing of services rendered, contract payments received timeously with correct cost allocation from the Services rendered
  • Oversee the execution of contracts in terms of profitability and risk, and run periodical performance reviews with customers
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers, coordinating with the FSE Manager and Service Co-Ordinator to deliver optimal contractual performance during the agreement period
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, handover communications, and related documentation
  • Leads quotation development (including cost, scope, risks and commercial terms), and actively supports negotiation of related complex services agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Engage with Bühler's central team where relevant, and share experiences to improve the portfolio and customer experience continuously
  • Collaborate with experts from relevant departments to gather the necessary information for creating accurate and compliant quotations, i.e., technical experts, tax, legal, commercial, finance, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, handover communications, and related documentation
  • -Identify potential customers and opportunities in collaboration with Customer Relationship Manager(s) within the respective region/country for the various business units' service solutions, Inspection and Maintenance Agreements
  • Support execution and monitor the performance of agreed KPIs

These are the skills you'll need

  • At least 2 years of experience in quotation management, contract management and/or front-end sales
  • Sound understanding of maintenance methods and maintenance planning
  • Willingness to travel (20-30%)
  • Basic experience in manufacturing or process industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer value chains and their business driver
