Minimum Criteria:

  • Admitted attorney with membership in
    LSSA
    .
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing sequestrations, liquidations, and business rescue proceedings.
  • Manage sequestration, liquidation, and business rescue proceedings, securing SARS' creditor rights.
  • Represented liquidators in debt recovery exceeding R100M; resolved complex creditor disputes, enforced judgments, and managed cross-border insolvency processes.
  • No pending criminal cases, dismissals, bad credit, or blacklisting.
  • Submission of your updated CV and qualifications
  • References and/or testimonials

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal proceedings involving sequestration, liquidation, and business rescue.
  • Secure SARS' creditor rights in distressed company cases.
  • Advise on tax compliance implications in insolvency matters.
  • Provide expert witness testimony and prepare court-ready documentation.
  • Support SARS in recovery strategies for high-risk debtors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • LLB or equivalent law degree.
  • Proven expertise in insolvency law, corporate rescue, and litigation.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
