About the role

Solsbery CPA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax & Accounting Specialist to join our growing practice in Pretoria. This full-time hybrid role supports both South African and US-based clients and requires someone who is analytical, meticulous and comfortable managing multiple client portfolios.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a monthly salary of
R35,000 – R40,000
, depending on experience, qualifications and overall suitability for the role.

Responsibilities


• Manage accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation for a variety of clients


• Prepare, review and maintain accurate financial statements and tax submissions


• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory requirements


• Create financial reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI


• Reconcile accounts and manage general ledger entries in QuickBooks


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely reporting


• Stay current on tax laws, accounting standards and compliance requirements

Requirements


• SAIPA accreditation (essential)


• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or tax


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Power BI


• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Afrikaans and English bilingual


• Based in or around Pretoria
