Purpose: Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of HR-related tasks, maintaining employee records and delivering excellent customer service to employees and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data capture, filing, and record-keeping, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
- Coordinate employee induction and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Process HR transactions, such as terminations and benefits administration, and administer employment agreements and contracts.
- Compile and submit HR reports and statutory records, including weekly, monthly and annual reporting periods.
- Conduct various HR tasks, provide HR support and guidance to employees and management, support the HR Executive with reports, meetings, and tasks, and manage the HR Executive's diary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric or equivalent
- Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in HR administration or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint –
- Knowledge of PASTEL HR information system. Knowledge of SAGE will be advantageous
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
