We are expanding and looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our Forwarding & Clearing Division, ensuring smooth operations, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.

"Key Responsibilities"

"Lead operations that move cargo — and people — forward."


• Oversee import, export, and local transport operations (Sea, Air & Road).


• Manage customs clearing processes and ensure compliance with all SARS requirements.


• Liaise with shipping lines, agents, transporters, and clients to ensure timely movement.


• Supervise warehouse and container handling, including stuffing and deliveries.


• Verify all documentation — B/L, EUR1, COO, invoices, packing lists, etc.


• Train, motivate, and lead a strong operations and warehouse team.


• Control and monitor shipment timelines, costs, and KPIs.


• Handle claims, demurrage disputes, and client escalations professionally.


• Collaborate with Finance and Management on billing, quotations, and profitability.


• Continuously improve operational systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in freight forwarding and customs clearing.


• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, DDP/DAP shipments, and tariff classifications.


• Experience with SARS systems (EasyClear) and shipping line coordination.


• Excellent leadership, planning, and multitasking abilities.


• Analytical mindset with focus on accuracy and client service.


• Computer literacy: MS Office & freight systems essential.


• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Freight Management preferred.
