Performance Objectives for Year One:

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance: Within the first 90 days, audit and take ownership of the enterprise-wide testing policy. Lead the strategy to align testing protocols with the "Head of Applications" to ensure zero-defect delivery on mission-critical updates.
  • Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Successfully manage the testing lifecycle for all regulatory compliance projects (PASA/SARB mandates), ensuring 100% adherence to external stakeholder requirements without delaying release cycles.
  • Automation & Modernization: Lead the architectural transition from manual-heavy processes to a modern, automated testing framework (using tools like Selenium/JMeter) to improve regression testing speed and coverage by the end of year one.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Establish a robust communication framework between Business Unit Heads, Technical Managers, and external vendors to streamline the "idea-to-deployment" flow, reducing friction in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
