Azapak's core skills are based on design and process engineering and material science which gives us the capability of developing new and better products if required, new manufacturing machinery to produce products and constant in house innovation.We have a exciting opportunity available for a IT and Systems / Developer: Internship based to join our team.The purpose of this roll will be to design, automate and visualize Azapak' s HR, Production, Quality, and Maintenance data flows – transforming manual processes into real time digital systems. The role bridges factory operations and data engineering, ensuring Azapak develops smart factory capabilities without relying on external vendors or exposing internal data.Objectives and Key deliverablesData Flow Mapping:Document current production, QC and maintenance data Points (google sheets, job cards, QC logs and n8n Flows)Identify manual inputs and design integration plan into a unified SQL databaseSmart Dashboards:Develop Power BI dashboards for live OEE, downtime, QC deviations, and job progress. Ensure department-level KPI's (Production, QC, Maintenance) are visible to management.Automation LayerBuild automated alerts via n8n (e.g., moisture>tolerance, machine stoppage > 30 mins, or production lag vs schedule). Develop simple web forms or apps to feed data directly into SQL.Predictive Maintenance Pilot:Use data (runtime hours, QC trends) to model early-warning maintenance indicators.Data Governance & Scaling:Create structured backups, data cleaning pipeline, and standarised reporting templates for each department.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain SQL database for job cards, QC data, and maintenance logs.Integrate existing Google Sheets and n8n workflows into central system.Develop API connections for future Io T or sensor inputs.Build Power BA dashboards for management visibility.Implement automated reporting for daily performance summaries.Convert paper-based QC sheets into digital inputs.Maintain local hosting, backups, and role-based access control.Qualifications & ExperienceBSc Applied Mathematics and Computer ScienceKey AttributesApplied Mathematics/ Logic: Analytic thinking for data modellingSQL & Database Design: Create and manage factory databasePower BI & Data Visualization: Convert data into actionable dashboardsFull Stack / Coding: Build internal web interfacesFactory Process Understanding: Interpret QC, OEE job card flowCuriosity/ Problem Solving: Hands-on, self -learnerJob Type: InternshipContract length: 6-12 monthsWork Location: In person
