What you will be doing:

  • Maintain full accounting records to year-end trial balance, including adjustments and depreciation
  • Handle general accounting functions and reconciliations (supplier, customer, bank)
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Process financial data accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with clients and provide accounting support
  • Assist with income tax return preparation (data collation and input under guidance)
  • Contribute to managing client portfolios
  • Support general administration tasks
  • Grow into managing own client base with team support

What we are looking for:

  • Accounting or Bookeeping diploma or degree
  • Experience with Pastel / Xero in a professional accounting environment
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability
  • Solid Excel and Word skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience in accounting processing to AFS input level (Xero and Pastel)
