Used Car Sales Manager

- Lead, mentor and manage a team of used car sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Oversee and optimise the full used car sales process, including appraisals, trade-ins, valuations, pricing, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Maintain high-performing sales standards through training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
- Analyse sales metrics and implement strategic initiatives to drive volumes and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, finance regulations, FAIS requirements, and customer service excellence.
- Build strong customer relationships and handle escalated client inquiries or complaints.
- Manage vehicle stock, merchandising, advertising, and showroom readiness.
- Collaborate with finance and insurance (F&I), admin, and management teams to ensure smooth deal flow.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop sales staff as required.
- Produce weekly and monthly sales reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements to maximise dealership competitiveness.
- Ensure high ethical standards and uphold brand reputation at all times.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager.
- Minimum 3–5 years in management within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
- Ability to motivate and drive a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets consistently.
Salary: Basic+Benefits
