Role Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Social Worker
to provide comprehensive support within our precinct. The role involves engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness, assisting residents in need of social or welfare support, conducting assessments, offering counselling or referrals, and ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in social work.

·       At least 5 years work experience.

·       Fluent in understanding and speaking Afrikaans. Non negotiable

·       Registration with the relevant professional body. Non negotiable

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Proven experience in social work, preferably with individuals experiencing homelessness or social exclusion.

·       Strong understanding of social justice issues and a commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations.

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

·       Flexibility in working hours

·       Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
