In this role, you'll not only help shape and drive strategic growth, manage key initiatives, and support leadership in delivering on business objectives—you'll also lead the full Pension-Backed Lending team, guiding and empowering them to achieve our strategic goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in unlocking value for our customers, enhancing operational excellence, and driving innovation across the product lifecycle.

Are you someone who can:
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy.
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization.
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
- Keep the relevant executive or manager informed of various activities within and outside the group and assist with documentation and reports.
- Identification of relevant trends and emerging issues to inform proactive decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Achievement of strategic and project objectives.
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility.
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.
- Identify and utilize opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Related degree is preferred
- Must have 5-8 years lending product experience
- Must have strong Relationship management or Stakeholder engagement
- Must be based in Gauteng
