Lead Generation Specialist – Sales Support (Outbound) | Industrial Supply Chain Tech

Location: Remote (South Africa-based) | Full-time

Salary: R50,000 - R80,000 per month (based on experience and fit)

Project Y is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing frontier technology company transforming industrial supply chains through decision intelligence and actionable forecasting. About the Role:
We're looking for a high-ownership, experiment-driven Outbound Lead Generation Specialist to accelerate commercial growth. You'll own the outbound demand engine, designing and executing campaigns across calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach. By testing, learning, and iterating rapidly, you'll help shape how this emerging category is sold and make a direct impact on the company's expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute outbound campaigns targeting procurement teams and decision-makers in industrial and manufacturing markets.

  • Run multi-variant experiments with calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to optimize engagement and conversion.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies.

  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust tactics quickly to maximize results.

  • Take full ownership of your experiments and outcomes, operating like a hands-on builder and commercial driver.


Must-Haves:

  • Strong bias toward action: test, iterate, learn, repeat.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience designing and running outbound campaigns (calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach).

  • Curiosity about industrial markets, supply chains, or data-driven products.

  • Comfort working with CRM tools and basic marketing automation.

  • Analytical mindset and fast adaptability.

  • Self-motivated, high ownership, and eager to tackle ambiguous problems.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in SDR/BDR roles, lead generation, or growth marketing.

  • Familiarity with A/B testing, ads, landing pages, or funnel optimization.

  • Interest in AI, forecasting, or data-driven decision systems.

  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or B2B SaaS.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset or "outlier profile"—career switchers welcome.
