What the Role Is About

As one of two Group Treasury Specialists, you'll manage the Group's bank accounts, facilities, and guarantees, oversee payments, and safeguard liquidity. You'll ensure accurate reporting of interest income and expenses, all while embedding financial discipline and enhancing treasury controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimise banking platforms, user access, mandates, and cash accounts
  • Monitor and manage cash positions, including daily forecasting and investment placements
  • Ensure compliant execution of local and international payments, including FX transactions
  • Maintain treasury registers, guarantee records, and track group-wide facility usage
  • Reconcile interest income/expenses and prepare monthly reports and dashboards
  • Liaise with SARB on exchange control compliance, inward receipts, and reporting
  • Support treasury risk management, identify control gaps, and contribute to audits

What We're Looking For

  • BCom in Financial Accounting (essential); Treasury/Finance certifications (advantageous)
  • 5 years' experience in a treasury
  • Strong understanding of SARB regulations, banking platforms, and risk management
  • High-level Excel skills and experience with treasury systems
