A leading firm in the financial services sector is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join their team in Century City. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of robust financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Perform detailed budgeting and variance analysis, translating results into clear financial performance insights.
  • Transform complex datasets into actionable business insights for executive-level reporting.
  • Analyse large datasets using SQL and advanced Excel features to extract and manipulate data.
  • Create dynamic visualizations and dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools) to effectively communicate data.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assess business performance, monitor key metrics (like customer value and retention), and identify risks or growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all systems and support the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, and performance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including complex formulas and macros).
  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI/visualization platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data manipulation.
  • Excellent ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Experience in the Fintech sector is an advantage.
