Job Description
Location
: Cape Town-based

Contract Duration
: 10 November 2025 till March 2026 (FTP)

Khulisa Social Solutions is seeking to appoint 2 Social Auxiliary Workers on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), based in Somerset West and Mitchell's plain areas. The successful candidates are expected to start on Monday, 10th November 2025.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate support groups, life skills programs, and awareness campaigns
  • Assist with client assessments and contribute to the compilation of case reports
  • Maintain and update client files and related documentation
  • Support with administrative tasks and accurate data capturing
  • Assist with court processes and interventions
  • Monitor and report on client progress in collaboration with the social work team

Qualifications And Requirements

  • A recognised Social Auxiliary Work qualification
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
  • Valid driver's license (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (bilingualism is advantageous)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Proof of clearance or registration status on the National Child Protection Register and the National Register for Sex Offenders (as per the Children's Act and Sexual Offences Act)
