MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
* Must have a CA (SA) in good standing with minimum 4-6 years' post-article
experience, which must include exposure to consolidations and preparation of
financial statements (group, companies and trusts)
* Extensive exposure to IFRS, Companies Act, JSE Listings Requirements and SEC
requirements
* Ability to work under pressure due to tight deadlines
* Strong communication skills: Verbal and Written
* Good report-writing skills are essential
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

* Ability to adapt to changing environment is key
* Proficient in Excel
ADVANTAGEOUS

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Report to Financial Manager: Reporting
* Review of information which could includes:
o calculations for company and group financial accounts
o entries required for the consolidation of the group
o reports to the board
o quarterly and half yearly financial statements for Group
o annual financial statements for Group
o sections of the Integrated Annual Report and Form 20F
o statutory financial statements for the group's entities in accordance with IFRS and other regulations
o XBRL filings (CIPC)
* Coordinate and manage sub-processes within the department.
