The purpose of this role isto design and develop high -quality, engaging learning experiences for our IHSand SAE distance and contact provision. The goal is to facilitate students inacquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in aneffective and engaging manner, using a variety of digital authoring tools andmethodologies  RequirementsEssential Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in education,instructional design, educational technology or similarTwo years of proven working experiencein instructional design for a variety of subjects and focus areasExcellent knowledgeof learning theories and instructional and learning design models such asADDIE, Backward Design, Blooms Taxonomy and Gagné's Nine Events of InstructionSkills in creating awell -executed learning journey inclusive of curriculum and assessmentdevelopmentExperience withlearning tools such as Articulate 360, Basic HTML and CSS (Cascading StyleSheets) for Learner Management Systems, Canva and AI toolsSolid knowledge of course/programmedevelopment software and at least one Learning Management SystemAbility to write effective copy,instructional text, and video scripts for a variety of e -learning applicationsTeaching or classroom facilitation experienceis an added advantage.Essential Skills:Proficient inMicrosoft SuiteExcellent written and oralcommunication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technicalinformation to non -technical colleagues and clientsCritical thinking skillsAbility to prioritise and managemultiple simultaneous deadlinesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work independentlyStrong digital competencies andconfidence working with emerging technologies
