Business Development Manager – (Commission based only)

We're looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager who thrives on building new business in the IT sector. You'll be responsible for hunting new opportunities, closing deals, and helping shape our fast-growing organisation in the IT space.

Responsibilities

· Drive 100% new business development initially

· Identify, prospect, and close new clients in IT industry.

· Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients — be seen as a partner, not a "salesperson."

· Run both cold-calling campaigns and structured face-to-face / online client meetings.

· Gather and leverage client feedback to suggest new business opportunities and product improvements.

· Manage signed accounts once secured, ensuring continued satisfaction and cross-sell potential.

· Collaborate across departments (claims, underwriting, operations) to deliver value.

Qualifications

· Business or Marketing Degree

· Cold calling and prospecting experience.

· Experience in closing deals both online and face-to-face.

· Account and client relationship management skills.

· Strong admin and time management with attention to detail.

Required Skills

· Proven success in new business development in an IT industry.

· 5–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.

· Self-sufficient, accountable, and disciplined — thrives without micro-management.

· Goal-driven with strong motivation tied to financial growth.

· Mature, trustworthy, and professional with high integrity.

· Customer-centric mindset — must want to add real value, not just "sell."

· Adaptable and flexible — thrives in a growing, changing business environment.

· Excellent communicator, both written and spoken. Must be confident in client-facing settings.

· Proactive problem-solver, not afraid to ask questions or propose solutions.

· Own reliable vehicle (for client meetings).

· Prepared to support clients outside of normal hours if required.

Preferred Skills

· Someone who requires constant management.

· Pure account managers with new business experience.

· Immature candidates without the discipline this role requires.
