Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Woodstock, Cape Town. As a Digital Content Manager, you will oversee the management of select digital signage networks and ensure the seamless publication of media content. This role involves quality assurance (QA) of client-submitted content, managing publishing schedules, and utilizing our cloud-based CMS system to distribute content effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital signage, media content management, and cloud-based content publishing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Screen Network Management:

  • Oversee the health and performance of the digital screen network.
  • Monitor screen uptime and troubleshoot any issues in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Ensure content is correctly displayed and functioning as intended across all screens.

Content Quality Assurance & Management:

  • Review and verify all client-submitted media content to ensure it meets technical and quality standards (format, resolution, duration, compliance, etc.).
  • Provide feedback to clients on required content adjustments or modifications.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and contractual agreements.

Publishing & Scheduling:

  • Develop and manage publishing schedules based on client requirements and campaign timelines.
  • Use the cloud-based CMS system to upload, schedule, and deploy content to digital screens.
  • Ensure timely execution of content rollouts, updates, and removals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to confirm publishing plans and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Client & Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients, sales teams, and technical support teams to ensure smooth content deployment.
  • Maintain documentation of content publishing schedules, approvals, and screen performance.
  • Provide periodic reports on content performance and screen uptime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital signage, media content management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based CMS platforms for digital signage (e.g., nfinityX, Vnnox, etc.).
  • Experience in building self service kiosks menu flows highly advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality assurance checks on media files.
  • Proficiency in managing schedules, deadlines, and campaign timelines.
  • Basic understanding of media formats, resolutions, and file compatibility for digital signage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing, media planning, or content distribution.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based workflow tools and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of networked display systems and content playback troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of analytics and reporting for content performance tracking.
