Join Our Dynamic Team as a IT Solution Delivery Manager

What will you be doing?

Provide a world class solution delivery service for clients by supporting and managing a team of Project Delivery Engineers, Solution Delivery Consultants and Solution Architects. Working closely with other departments within Babble including our Project Management function, Field Engineers and others. The team are currently responsible for deploying a wide variety of IT and Networking products including Modern Workplace, Azure, Mimecast, Acronis, On SharePoint, on-prem servers, and Networking equipment such as Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, and others.

As the team manager, you will be responsible for your team's progress, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest standard and within suitable time frames, whilst maintaining a high level of communication with the client.

Accountabilities and Deliverables:

  • Managing team workload and distribution of projects to team members and external contractors as required.
  • Responsible for managing and improving the team's performance, managing their workload, and planning their progression/upskilling.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, and methods to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Ensure your team maintains a high level of accuracy in recording information and activities into Babble systems such as Salesforce and
  • Liaise with other teams, departments and customers when project escalation is required.
  • Manage the teams leave requests and HR functions.
  • Complete/Update technical documentation.
  • Mentor and train colleagues.
  • Monitoring and managing time tracking and the financial success of the team – specifically ensuring that work is delivered on time and on budget

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a team lead role is necessary (2 years minimum). Experience in a managed services environment is advantageous.
  • Proficient with multiple technologies and dealing with difficult and sensitive technical problems.
  • Comfortable with escalation handling and liaising with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Knowledge and experience with common Microsoft Technologies (365, Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge and experience with networking technologies (Firewalls, VLAN, DHCP/DNS, Switching)
  • Knowledge and experience with endpoint protection platforms and anti-virus management.
  • Knowledge and experience with Backup and DR technologies.
