Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing business within educational creative sector is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, this role offers the opportunity to influence key commercial decisions and drive performance across multiple business units. We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail. You'll be responsible for preparing and interpreting management accounts, building financial models, and providing strategic insight to support business growth and profitability.
 
The ideal candidate will hold a BCom degree (Honours advantageous) and be studying towards a CIMA qualification. bring 4-5 years experience in a similar analytical or management accounting role, with proven exposure to financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting. Advanced Excel skills and a genuine passion for transforming numbers into meaningful stories are essential.

As the FP&A Analyst, your duties include the following:
Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
Provide data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
Develop, refine, and maintain financial models and performance dashboards
Partner with business units to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing clear variance analysis
Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management
Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analysis, and financial processes

Skills & Experience:
4-5 years of experience in financial analysis, management accounting or FP&A
Advanced Excell skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualification:
Bcom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CIMA studies in progress
