Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Garment Technologist based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Garment Technologist will be responsible for overseeing the garment development process, ensuring quality control, and conducting fittings. Daily tasks include collaborating with the design team, communicating with stakeholders, selecting textiles, and ensuring that all garments meet quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Garment Construction and Fitting
  • Strong Quality Control skills
  • Proficiency with creating graded specs
  • Excellent Communication skills for effectively coordinating with different teams and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the workwear or PPE industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Textiles, or a related field
