Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science (or a related field).
  • 3-6 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Proven expertise in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API design and micro-services architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to system architecture decisions.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving commercial outcomes through technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Outcomes: Take ownership of technology projects with a direct impact on thier commercial success. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions align with and drive business objectives.
  • Development Excellence: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable code that meets industry standards.
  • API & Micro-services: Architect, build, and manage APIs and micro-services, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of their technology stack.
  • System Architecture: Play a key role in the design and evolution of system architecture, emphasizing scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless and user-centric interfaces that elevate the overall user experience.
