We're looking for a
Group Specialist: Tax Compliance
to join the Group Finance team. You'll play a key role in supporting the Group Manager: Tax by ensuring the smooth, timely and accurate delivery of all tax compliance activities across the group.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing and submitting a range of tax returns, including provisional, annual income tax, VAT, mineral royalty tax and dividends tax.
  • Managing tax payments and ensuring all obligations are met on time to avoid penalties.
  • Assisting with SARS queries, audits and verifications, drafting clear and well-supported responses.
  • Keeping tax compliance across the group up to date and aligned with regulatory changes.
  • Supporting indirect tax teams (PAYE, SDL, etc.) and managing eFiling administration.

What we're looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation, plus a postgraduate diploma or honours in Taxation.
  • 3–5 years' experience in a tax compliance role, with strong knowledge of SARS systems and tax return processes.
  • Excellent understanding of South African tax legislation (Income Tax, VAT, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Confident communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.
