As they enter the next phase of growth, they seek an Industrial Engineer to ensure that the business is operating as efficient as possible with the most innovative and modern solutions
PURPOSE
The Industrial Engineer will be developed into a Business Process Engineer, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation. The role focuses on four core pillars: Project Management, Kaizen (continuous improvement), Data Analytics, and Innovation. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to business-critical processes, enabling the graduate to build a strong foundation in operational excellence and process engineering.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
Mandatory: BSc/BEng in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). Preferred: Certifications, or exposure to Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Data Analytics.Experience
Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant internship/graduate program experience. Exposure to data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar) is an advantage. Participation in projects or process improvement initiatives during studies will be beneficial.Technical & Professional Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills. Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen and continuous improvement principles. Basic understanding of project management methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to BI tools preferred.Behavioural Competencies

Project ManagementManage projects across the business Implementing agile and waterfall project methodologiesConduct project impact meetings with scorecardsDiagnose and solve bottlenecks in the projectsBusiness Process Improvement (KAIZEN)Implement kaizen principles to improve business processesAct as an internal consultant/process expert for the various departmentsIdentify business issues and conduct workshops around problem definitionInvestigate and measure the extent of the problem in each of the departmentsSolve the problem using the most efficient methodMaintain and control the systems, where solutions have been implementedRedesigning business processes to work as optimal as possible to save time and resourcesData AnalyticsBuilding and maintaining the company scorecards that track company and departmental goals with Power BIConduct analysis, scenario planning and simulation through mathematical/management accounting modelsPromote a culture of data driven decision makingInnovation/researchFacilitating the workshop to provide the platform for engineers and data analysts to innovate and share ideasAutomating business processes through RPA (Power Automate, Power Bi, Smartsheet Automation, chat bots)Data science through ML and AIResearching what ideas related to technology and 4IR and be brought into the businessThis job description is not a definitive or exhaustive list of responsibilities and is subject to change depending on changing business requirements.
