Vokara Early Career Discovery Program – Facilitator Call (Part-Time)

Compensation: R1,000 per workshop


About the Role

Vokara is launching its Early Career Discovery Pilot Program — a hands-on experience designed to help young people explore their natural abilities, discover their behavioral strengths, and uncover their future potential through real-world activities and guided reflection.

We're looking for sharp, observant, and emotionally intelligent facilitators who can connect deeply with teens and guide them through discovery-based sessions.

As a facilitator, your role is not to lecture — but to observe, engage, and draw out each student's unique traits, from confidence and leadership to collaboration and creativity.


Your Role Will Include:

Facilitating small-group workshops using Vokara's experiential discovery tools and activities.

Observing student behaviors, attitudes, and interaction styles to identify core traits and potential career alignments.

Taking behavioral notes and providing feedback on each participant's strengths and growth areas.

Guiding reflection discussions and encouraging self-awareness in participants.

Participating in the pilot program phase as part of your interview process.

Collaborating with the Vokara team to refine program materials and facilitation techniques.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

We're looking for individuals who are:

Empathetic and emotionally intelligent — able to read body language, tone, and subtle behavior patterns.

Experienced with youth or teens (teaching, coaching, counselling, youth development, or facilitation).

Strong observers and communicators — able to interpret what's not said, and help participants express themselves.

Confident facilitators — able to hold group energy, motivate participants, and keep workshops interactive.

Organized and reliable — able to manage time, take notes, and deliver consistent feedback.

Creative and adaptable — willing to learn Vokara's unique facilitation model and bring it to life dynamically.


Qualifications / Background (any of the following):

Youth development, education, psychology, social work, coaching, or related experience.

Prior experience facilitating workshops or programs with teenagers.

Comfortable with observation-based learning environments (not just classroom teaching).

Training or exposure to behavioral analysis, coaching, or mentoring is a plus.


Compensation:

R1,000 per workshop (strictly part-time, per session basis).

Workshops will take place after school hours or weekends (schedule to be communicated).
