An exciting, fast-growing company in the Web3 and blockchain technology space is seeking a qualified CA(SA) Financial Accountant to join their Cape Town-based finance team.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of an innovative, tech-driven organisation that is redefining the digital finance landscape. No prior Web3 or crypto experience is required — just a passion for technology and a desire to learn in this rapidly evolving sector.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, dynamic, and commercially minded, with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, technology, and strategy.
  • Support finance projects within the blockchain, crypto, and digital asset space.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • CA(SA) qualification required.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years post-articles experience (commercial or audit).
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Outgoing, confident, and adaptable personality.
  • Interest in technology, cryptocurrency, or blockchain (no prior experience required).
