Waiter 

Job Summary:

The position requires a charismatic guest orientated salesperson with great attention to detail, to serve food and drinks to guests and prepare the outlet in accordance with RCH standards

Organisational Positioning:

·       Department: Food and Beverage

·       Reporting to:  Food and Beverage Manager

·       Location:     Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat

Minimum Experience or Qualification:

· Must have at least 2 years' experience in a fine dining restaurant (restaurant waitron); or upmarket cocktail bar  

 (bar waitron); or 4/5* Hotel / Lodge Outlet

· Exposure to a Point of Sales System (Micros - advantageous)

· Good command of the English Language with solid knowledge of hospitality vocabulary

· Highly presentable

· Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays 

Key Performance Objectives:

·  To maximise revenue generating opportunities, whilst enhancing the guest service experience, through upselling, in accordance with outlet service journey

·  Ensuring that mise en place is done in accordance with F&B outlet standard

·  Service guests in accordance with outlet service journey and company service culture

·  Handle operating equipment in accordance with company standards ensuring minimal breakages

·  Ensure that all revenue is accounted for by practicing the "swipe before you serve" principle for all transactions
