Job Description
We are seeking a highly energetic and creative individual with excellent communication skills to entertain and engage children. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box, generate new ideas, and create a fun and interactive experience for kids. Previous experience in teaching or a related field would be an asset, and candidates looking for a change of scenery are encouraged to apply

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for children at the Kids Club
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care at all times
  • Supervise and manage a team of Kids Club staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain and update Kids Club facilities to create a welcoming and stimulating environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's participation and well-being

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Must have excellent English communication
  • skills
  • French Speaking hugely advantageous
  • Valid passport as you would have 2 - 3 months training in Mauritius or Seychelles

Education

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education or related field advantageous

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Kids Club or similar childcare setting advantegous
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management and scheduling

Knowledge And Skills

  • Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Child CPR and First Aid
  • Experience working in a resort or hotel setting very advantageous

Working Conditions

  • Will be bushed based with accommodation onsite.
  • Will be expected to work on a cycle ie 3 weeks on 1 week off (Still to be confirmed)
