is seeking an ambitious, travel-ready, and highly effective
International Sales and Marketing Specialist
to drive the promotion and enrollment for our portfolio of
staff development short courses
across Africa and other less developed economies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional digital marketing prowess, a deep understanding of professional development needs in emerging markets, superior market research skills, and a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales targets by executing and adapting GNBI's marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
International Sales and Business Development
· T
arget Achievement & Revenue Generation:generate maximum revenue

Sales Pipeline Management:
Identify, qualify, nurture, and close sales opportunities across the entire international sales funnel.

Negotiation and Contracts:

Client Relationship Management:
Market Strategy and Analysis
·
Market Scanning & Analysis:
Proactively and continuously
scan the market
across target African nations and other less developed economies to identify emerging professional development needs, funding opportunities, and key market trends.

Competitive Analysis:
Thoroughly
analyze competition
in the international short course space, specifically in target regions, to inform and adapt GNBI's unique selling propositions and pricing strategies.
·
Strategy Implementation:
Effectively
implement GNBI's defined marketing strategy
across all sales and marketing activities to ensure unified brand messaging and maximum market penetration.
·
Product Feedback:
Provide strategic feedback to the course development team based on international market needs and research findings.
Marketing, Outreach, and Travel
·
Digital Strategy Leadership:
Develop, implement, and manage cutting-edge, data-driven digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing) specifically tailored for international audiences.

International Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Africa
to attend and market courses at major regional conferences, trade expos, and high-level client meetings.

Webinars and Online Events:
Plan and execute engaging international webinars and online information sessions to showcase course value.
Essential Qualifications and SkillsRequired
· Proven, verifiable track record in
international sales with a strong ability to close deals
and consistently
meet and exceed targets
.
· Exceptional proficiency and experience in
digital marketing
(including campaign management, analytics, and optimization).
· Demonstrated ability to
scan the market, analyze competition, and implement a defined marketing strategy
.
· Deep commercial and cultural understanding of
staff development short courses in Africa and less developed economies
.
·
Strong ability to travel frequently across Africa
for conferences and client engagement.
· Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (written and verbal).
· Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other major international business languages (e.g., French, Portuguese) is a significant advantage.
Desirable
· A relevant tertiary Degree qualification (Marketing, Business management, International Relations, Business, Development Studies etc.)
· Experience selling training or professional staff development services in a cross-border context.
· Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools.
