Introduction

Our client is looking for a top-tier Regional Financial Manager to join their team in Durban. This type of role typically requires someone with a solid background in financial management, strong leadership abilities, and the capacity to handle the demands of a large corporate environment. The right candidate would need to have excellent analytical skills, be adept at managing budgets, forecasting, and overseeing financial operations within the region.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES:

  • Manage finance team 
  • Managing and overseeing the full finance function 
  • Monthly reporting and analysis 
  • Managing month and year end close including monthly flash results Managing Debtors, Creditors, Cashbook, General ledger 
  • Monthly stock/inventory reconciliation 
  • Visit and review branches including an internal audit review 
  • SARS Statutory returns (Income tax, VAT, PAYE, Dividend tax) Review Sars Checklists and e-filing 
  • Monthly payroll preparation and completion 
  • Release Payments on the Bank Accounts 
  • Analysis of Income Statement and Balance sheets 
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts on an annual basis 
  • Adhoc Reports and analysis as required from the Regional Executive
  • Travel to Region branches within KZN
Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric (Grade 12)

Minimum BCOM Degree

CA (SA) required

Package & Remuneration

CTC Market related + Managment Incentive
