Senior Salesforce Administrator (Technical Focus)

We are a boutique Salesforce consultancy and Summit (Platinum) Partner delivering high-impact Salesforce implementations for both Enterprise and SMB clients across Sales, Service, Marketing and Experience Clouds.

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator based in South Africa, with strong technical skills to own solution configuration, automation, and platform optimization. You'll work closely with our Technical Architects and Developers, playing a key role in translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive real business value.

This is not a junior admin role. You must be confident designing and building sophisticated automations, optimizing data architecture, and supporting multi-cloud configurations in a consulting context.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end configuration: objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflow rules, Flows, and approval processes

  • Design, build, and optimize complex Flows and automation to streamline and scale business processes

  • Collaborate with consultants and architects on solution design, providing input on feasibility and best practice configuration

  • Perform data modeling, data migration (ETL), and ensure data integrity across integrations

  • Manage permission sets, roles, and security models for multi-org or complex sharing needs

  • Participate in sprint planning, estimates, and contribute to solution architecture discussions

  • Lead internal UAT, regression testing, and documentation following DevOps practices

  • Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support business intelligence needs

  • Mentor junior admins and provide first-line support to internal and client teams

  • Support pre-sales activities with technical insights and demonstration builds

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a mid-to-large Salesforce org or consultancy

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Consultant certifications strongly preferred

  • Experience implementing and optimizing Salesforce Flows (must-have)

  • Strong knowledge of Sales and Service Cloud; Experience Cloud, CPQ, or Marketing Cloud is a bonus

  • Solid understanding of data architecture, relational databases, and integration patterns

  • Advanced Excel / Data Loader / ETL tools experience

  • Experience working in consulting or multi-client environments preferred

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps processes (JIRA, Git, Change Sets, or SFDX)
