Resident Engineer (Concrete, Reservoirs, Pipelines)

Responsibilities

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Resident Engineer for a 2 year project in Gauteng.

Refurbishment and new construction.

Proven experience monitoring construction (pipelines, earthworks, concrete works).

Strong understanding of construction methods (SANS 1200).

Conduct site measurements, inspections, and monitor daily activities.

Ability to monitor and execute quality control measures efficiently.

Help report and flag site issues to the project team.

Assist with ensuring adherence to OHS standards and site protocols.

Mentor and supervise junior site staff and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications

B.Tech
or higher in Civil Engineering.

Experienced in GCC2015-Contract

10+ years' experience in structural concrete, reservoirs, large bore steel pipelines/fittings, pumping stations.

Reservoir construction experience will be an advantage (Project entails a 30m high water tower)

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Self-driven and results-oriented.

Valid driver's license.
