Our Client in the Distribution Industry is seeking to employ a Sales Representative to their team based in Johannesburg South.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated.
  • Entrepreneurial skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • FMCG related.
  • Possible tobacco or liquor FMCG background.
  • Diploma or Degree is required.
  • Very good health and no criminal record.
  • Technical skills on an iPad and experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Call on total customer base (Retail Key Account Channel & Wholesale Channel) in the allocated area: Soweto, Alexandra, Johannesburg Central, Midvaal, Lenasia, Lyndhurst, and Vaal Triangle regions.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities within the allocated territory.
  • Extend the range of products in all stores.
  • Introduce new products to existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure consistent customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report on market trends.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and product performance.
  • Utilize digital tools (e.g., iPad, Microsoft Office) for sales reporting and territory management.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold company standards during all client interactions.
  • Remain based in Pretoria with no overnight travel required for the Gauteng region.
