Key purpose: 

Technology, role is responsible for planning and overseeing the delivery of IT projects to ensure completion in a timely fashion and within budget. This role is more senior than the Project Manager Level 1 Technology role, due to the incumbent having a higher level of expertise, furnished by an in-depth knowledge of project management and extraordinary skills in the discipline. The Project managers role is to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. The Project Manager Level 2 Technology must meet stakeholder expectations and create business value, within the confines of a company's goals and vision.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Establishes clear communication about expectations and requirements of team members
  • Sets up or reviews projects to achieve goals within specified timeframes
  • Manages projects as they progress through various phases, including initiating, planning, execution, deployment and maintenance
  • Cloud Computing
  • Technology projects management
  • Infrastructure and software architecture
  • System Requirement Specification (SRS)
  • Data Center Infrastructure Planning and Design
  • Infrastructure Management
  • Agile PM Methodologies
  • AD migration project

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field required
  • Minimum 8 year of previous experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager (IPM) preferred
  • Experience with Azure Web Services is a plus
  • Experience managing and delivering large projects including complex technical, program management and/or budgeting aspects
