The Data Analyst will analyse complex data sets and deliver actionable insights that drive data-informed decisions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing visualisations and solutions using GCP tools like Looker and BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection & Preparation:
    • Gather, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Resolve data quality issues and maintain reliable datasets using tools like SQL, SAS, Python, and BigQuery.
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that support strategic decisions.
  • Reporting & Visualization:
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Google Looker to communicate insights effectively.
    • Present findings clearly, tailoring output to diverse audiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-informed decision-making.
    • Provide analytical input for market analysis, customer segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and data dictionaries.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
    • Pursue ongoing learning in statistical analysis, data modelling, and visualization.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Degree or Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data analytics or similar 
  • 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst 
  • Experience with GCP, Google BigQuery, SQL, Python and data visualisation tools
