About the Role

We are hiring a Head of Product: Rental to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of Klipboard's global rental product portfolio. This is a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver value to rental customers and in steering the migration of multiple legacy rental solutions to our next-generation ERP platform.

You will be responsible for defining the product direction, driving roadmap alignment across regions, and ensuring our rental products deliver operational excellence, strong ROI, and superior user experience. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product discovery, and delivery, requiring a mix of commercial insight, customer empathy, and technical fluency.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the rental industry and SaaS product lifecycles, with proven experience leading product strategy for complex ERP or operational systems used by asset-intensive businesses.

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Own the global product vision, roadmap, and commercial strategy for Klipboard's Rental solutions.
• Define and drive the migration strategy from legacy rental platforms to the next-generation product.
• Translate market needs, customer insights, and business objectives into clear product priorities and requirements.
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of rental workflows, including asset lifecycle, utilisation, servicing, billing, and compliance.

Platform Evolution & Delivery

• Partner with engineering, UX, and architecture teams to ensure a seamless and scalable transition to the new platform.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery, design, and MVP to release, adoption, and iteration.
• Ensure integration and interoperability with core ERP, mobile, and cloud services.
• Define and monitor key success metrics such as adoption, retention, performance, and NPS to measure impact.

Customer Focus & Market Insight

• Champion the voice of the rental customer across all product decisions.
• Work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify market trends, user needs, and product opportunities.
• Support go-to-market activities and customer engagement during product migration and rollout phases.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Serve as the global point of accountability for the Rental product line.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Communicate vision, roadmap, and progress to executives and stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Foster a data-driven, customer-centric product culture within the team.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years' leading product strategy in ERP, SaaS, or B2B software.
• Proven experience managing or transforming products in the rental, asset management, or equipment hire sectors.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end rental operations including quoting, contracts, logistics, invoicing, and servicing.
• Experience leading large-scale product migrations or platform modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and globally with engineering, UX, and commercial teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into actionable strategies.
• Technical confidence in working with APIs, integration architectures, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with agile product delivery and data-driven prioritization frameworks.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR or ISO 27001 is advantageous.
