Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Breakdown Controller based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The Breakdown Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating vehicle breakdown services, ensuring quick and efficient service delivery. Daily tasks include: responding to breakdown calls, coordinating with technical staff, keeping accurate records, and communicating with customers to provide updates. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and enhance customer satisfaction. The breakdown controller be required to work shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience in coordinating and managing vehicle breakdown services
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle mechanics is a plus
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for record-keeping
