Testaro Labs & Diagnostics is a fast-growing pathology laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate, efficient, and patient-focused diagnostic services. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with medical aid billing across various schemes.
  • Process and manage invoices for patients, corporates, and medical aids.
  • Perform medical aid checks and verify patient coverage before testing.
  • Conduct payment follow-ups and ensure outstanding accounts are settled timeously.
  • Handle cash reconciliations and daily cash-up reports.
  • Assist with medical billing platforms.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end processes.
  • Provide general administrative and accounts support to the finance department.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in medical aid billing is preferred, preferably within a healthcare or pathology environment.
  • Familiarity with Healthbridge or similar medical billing applications is essential.
  • Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable handling sensitive financial data.
