Role Overview

As a thutsé Sales & Brand Activator, you'll represent thutsé on the ground and online. Your main goal is to promote thutsé by word of mouth, drive new user signups, and help people understand the benefits of using thutsé for managing their spending.

You'll act as the face of the brand, helping users download the app, register, and start using thutsé confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively recruit and onboard new users to the thutsé platform.
  • Explain thutse's value proposition to potential users (e.g., differences between spend tracking and spending management, what is a prepayment, how to create a Spending Plan etc.).
  • Demonstrate the app and assist new users in setting up their user accounts.
  • Attend brand activations, community events, or social gatherings to represent thutsé.
  • Gather user feedback to help the software engineering and product manager improve the thutsé platform.
  • Share creative ideas to grow awareness and engagement in your user community and region.
  • Meet monthly targets for user activations and engagement.

Ideal Candidate

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in-person and online).
  • Basic understanding of fintech apps and financial literacy (a competitive advantage).
  • Smartphone or laptop with internet access.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
  • Fluent in English (and local languages a plus).

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience in sales, promotions, or brand activations.
  • Active on social media or with strong community presence.
  • Access to networks such as students, small business owners, uber drivers etc.
