The suitable candidate's main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

· Leading the Cluster financial team.

· Take responsibility for the overall financial function of the Security Cluster.

· Manage and control the Clusters financial related activities.

· Participate in and setting the strategic direction of the Cluster.

· Devise and implement the strategy, goals, and targets for the financial function in line with Cluster strategy.

· Build relations with relevant stakeholders including Shareholders, Bankers, Auditors, Regulatory Authority etc.

· Maintain and improve finance systems, procedures, processes, and infrastructure.

· Ensure that Cluster meets its regulatory and legal obligation in general but specifically related to the financial aspects of the business.

· Ensure the Finance Team delivers in line with specific deadlines among others;

· Group Financial Reports, Year-End Financials, Internal Audit Information, External Audit Compliance, Budgets, Risk Reports, Tax Submissions and Sustainability Reports.

· Drive and maintain tax compliance throughout the Cluster including VAT, PAYE, ETI, Learnership Allowances and Company Tax.

· Fulfill fiduciary duties.

Required qualifications/attributes/skills:

· PSIRA certificate – Grade B may be required due to certain of the Boards you are expected to be on.

· Relevant Financial qualification at an appropriate level for the seniority of the position.

· CA(SA) qualification an advantage

· Extensive experience in all aspects of the financial function as required in the position.

· Extensive working knowledge and experience in using Excel and Financial computer-based systems.

· Experience in tax management and Company restructuring advantageous.

· A good understanding of the BBBEE codes of good practice.

· Experience in and knowledge of the Security Industry advantageous.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Prior experience in due diligence and acquisition participation advantageous.

· Excellent time management and administrative skills and ability.

· Proven track record in building and leading a team.

· Proven track record in meeting deadlines and delivering under pressure.

· Driver's license and own transport.

· Clean credit and criminal record.

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

· Previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer or similar position;

· Previous experience as a Director of an Organisation;
