About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Admin Officer
to join our Johannesburg office on a
contract basis
. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily office operations and assist various departments with documentation, coordination, and reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain office operations, supplies, and general administrative tasks.
- Support HR, finance, and procurement teams with document preparation and filing.
- Handle correspondence, scheduling, and meeting coordination for internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records and databases (both electronic and paper-based).
- Assist with onboarding and coordination for new employees or contractors.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative, office support, or coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Matric required; Diploma or Degree in Administration or related field advantageous.
