You will be the go-to expert for all things HR, ensuring the smooth running of department and contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience for staff.
- Employee Relations:
Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing expert guidance on policies, and managing workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and formal processes (disciplinary, grievance, CCMA). - Talent Management:
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from attracting talent through to on-boarding new hires seamlessly. - HR Administration & Compliance:
Maintaining impeccable, confidential employee records, assisting with payroll and benefits, and compiling essential statutory reports to ensure full legal compliance. - Driving Engagement:
Coordinating exciting employee engagement initiatives, from recognition programs and wellness events to team-building activities. - System Management:
Ensuring our HR systems (PaySpace & SuccessFactors) are accurately maintained and leveraged effectively. - Continuous Improvement:
Supporting performance management, identifying training needs, and helping to foster a culture of growth and development.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of
3 years'
proven experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on IR. - Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation
and disciplinary procedures. - Essential hands-on experience
with HR Information Systems, particularly
PaySpace and SuccessFactors
. - Matric
is essential and a relevant
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR
is a strong advantage.
